DESCRIPTION
It is a cement-based, high performance , S1 class deformable tile adhesive with extended open time and
reduced slip for cement tile ans stones.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
• Interior and exterior bonding of all types of ceramic tiles , natural stone ,marble , granite , porcelen porcelain
tiles, single-fired, double-fired, clinker, bricks, cotto on cementitious screed and concrete.
• Bonding of tiles on existing ceramic tile, granite
• Bonding of tiles on painted walls and gypsum
• Bonding of ceramic tiles in swimming pools, basins and any other wet places.
• Bonding of tiles on terrace and balconies.
• Bonding of tiles on places where sudden temparature changes ocur like cold storage depots and underfloor
heating systems.
• Bonding of tiles on places subject to heavy traffc like shoping malls , hospitals , schools
• Aproved for use with plywood
• On unpolished, unprimed calcium sulphate screed. Please observe the screed manufacturer’s instructions

PROPERTIES
• Can be applied on vertical surfaces even for bonding of heavy tiles without sagging.
• Highly deformable thanks to its S1 classification , it is resistant to temparature changes

PREPARATION AND SUBSTRATES
• The surface to be applied must be cleaned of dust, dirt, formwork oil, and paint that may prevent adhesion.
• Cracked plasters and weak surfaces that cannot support themselves should be scraped off.
• Damaged surfaces and cracks should be repaired with suitable HG MORTAR F or HG MORTAR T repair mortars.
• Depending on the absorbency of the surface, it should be primed with TP or TILE PRIMER before
application.
• For better adhesion on fair-faced concrete surfaces, the surface should be primed with BETON CONTACT.
APPLICATION
Preparing the mix
2o kg of PREMIUM C2TES1 should be slowly poured into 6,5-7.5 liters of water and mixed with a low-speed drill until a
homogeneous mixture is obtained.
The prepared mortar should be left to mature for 5-10 minutes and then mixed again for 1-2 minutes before
being applied to the surface
Applying the mix
Apply PREMIUM C2TES1 to the substrate with a suitable trowel. The selection of the correct trowel depends on the
evenness of the substrate, the size of the tile and the profile of the back.
It is not necessary to wet the tiles before setting. Only when the backs are very dusty is it advisable to dip the
tiles in clean water. Spread the mortar onto the substrate with a notched trowel of which notch size is
appropriate to he tile dimension.
Open time is 30 minutes.Install the tiles whitin this period with a firm pressure. Unfavourable weather
conditions (strong sun, wind, high temperature) may shorten the open time, sometimes quite drastically, to
just a few minutes.
GROUTING AND SEALING
• Re-mixing the used material or reprocessing already hardened waste material is prohibited!
• Always comply with applicable standards and directives.
• Clean tools and mixing containers immediately after use, as the material can only be removed mechanically
once hardened.
• Avoid contact with eyes or skin! In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and consult a
specialist if necessary.
